GX51 supports bright field, dark field, differential interference and simple polarized light observation. The switch between bright and dark fields can be done with just a lever at hand.

The use of the electric nose-piece allows for quick switching of the objective lens, and the adoption of the electric filter wheel allows the switching of lighting to be done by the hand switch and computer at hand. These features further improve operability and facilitate centralized observation. The electric units can be freely combined as needed.
